Never written a blog before but here we go.... and I apologize in advance if this ends up being painful to read (I'll try my best to be grammatically correct or else I will hear it from my husband later).
To everyone that has stumbled upon this part of our website... welcome ! I'll start off by reintroducing myself, my name is Krysta and I am the mom of a toddler and two fur babies (if the word furbaby makes you cringe this might not be the spot for you)
I started Rustic Paws on a whim back in 2021, I was feeling really stuck in my old job and found myself craving a creative outlet that I could focus my anxieties on. I never thought in a million years I would still be doing it 3 years later, and that I would have sold sweaters all across Canada.
This small little sweater business has now grown into so much more. I've recently started offering acrylic pet portraits (which have reignited my passion for art) something about making such a special piece that you will display in your home is such an unreal feeling!
I'm so grateful for this little business, and although my life is sooo much busier than when I started 3 years ago (added a tiny human to the mix), there's nothing I would rather do in my spare time (although a nap would be nice every now and then)
I'm not entirely sure what these blog posts are going to entail, whether its small business related, arts & crafts tips and tricks, or some insight on juggling a small business while working full time and being a parent.... hey maybe it will be a bit of everything ! If you have something your wanting to know shoot me a message because I would love to hear what you want more of!
